Flux Core Welder

Job Description

Join a dynamic fabrication shop specializing in custom conveyors, cranes, and material handling products. As a Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to execute fitting, layout, drilling, welding, and assembling tasks. You will primarily work with .045 Flux Core welding.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fitting, layout, and assembly.
  • Perform welding tasks using .045 Flux Core method.
  • Conduct torch cutting, structural welding, and fabrication activities.
  • Inspect welding work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Mig Welding and Flux Core Welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience in torch cutting and structural welding.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Flux Core welding experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of welding experience preferred.
  • Certification in welding is a plus; otherwise, ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
