On-site Manager - Military Training Support

We are seeking an on-site manager for a contract staff providing simulations support to military units training at the Mission Training Complex, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing teams planning, developing, and conducting small to large-distributed exercises in live, virtual, constructive, and gaming environments.
2. Serving as the single point of contact between the contractor, teaming partners, and customers with full authority for on-site decision-making.
3. Leading the deliberate mission analysis process in coordination with functional managers and key stakeholders, including analyzing mission requirements, defining objectives, and resolving problems.
4. Facilitating quality of service delivery through observation, analysis, and customer interaction.
5. Coordinating and executing task order mission training services for multiple simultaneous unit exercises.
6. Managing profit and loss (P&L), service delivery, quality control, and employee development.

This position reports to the Director, Mission Command Programs, Global Training & Readiness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
2. Served as a brigade or battalion commander (required)
3. Completed Senior Service College or equivalent military schooling (preferred)
4. Experience in operations and training at division level or higher
5. Background in military training management and support
6. Full understanding of the Army Mission Command Training Support Program
7. Minimum 10 years supervisory experience
8. Possess a SECRET clearance
9. Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
10. Ability to work independently and creatively
11. Effective communication with clients, colleagues, senior officials, and leadership
