Pattern Designer & Maker
The Role
We are seeking a talented and meticulous Pattern Designer & Maker to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the core of our custom creation process, translating unique customer specifications into flawless, functional patterns. Your work will directly contribute to our reputation for tailored protection and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Order Analysis:
Review incoming orders to ensure all measurements and specifications are accurate.
Communicate proactively with customers to confirm details and provide a seamless, professional experience.
Research furniture collections, manufacturers, and designs to ensure a perfect fit.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and warranty claims related to product fit and function.
Pattern Creation & Design:
Utilize Pattern Smith Software to design precise, custom patterns for a wide range of outdoor furniture.
Optimize patterns for both superior quality and efficient production.
Maintain and organize the Couverture pattern library for easy access.
Production & Quality Assurance:
Compile detailed production documentation, including final patterns and notes.
Work closely with the cutting department to ensure patterns are executed correctly and efficiently.
Conduct thorough reviews to guarantee pattern accuracy and consistency, ensuring the final product meets our high standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in pattern design, furniture manufacturing, or a similar field.
Knowledge of outdoor furniture and its production processes.
Familiarity with Pattern Smith Software or similar pattern-making tools is a significant plus.
