Immediate Full-Time Opportunity for A&P Base Mechanic - Rotor Wing

• Competitive Salary: $62,705 - $91,455 annually
• IA Stipend: $2,080
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the maintenance and safety of our helicopter fleet at Med-Trans. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our EC135, EC130, and Bell407 airframes, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Performing maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, repairs, and providing updates to the Lead Technician.
• Managing inventory checks and ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are on hand.
• Maintaining clear and accurate service paperwork and adhering to FAA regulations.
• Upholding a safe and clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicating effectively to coordinate efforts among departments, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel alongside fellow AMTs and operations teams.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Experience with EC135, EC130, and Bell 407 maintenance.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with at least six months in the last two years.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Understanding of EMS systems and aircraft maintenance planning.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations.
• Physical ability to push/pull over 100 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
• Experience under CFR Part 135.
• Knowledge of autopilot maintenance.
• Experience with avionics and electrical repairs.
