Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Data Manager to keep our apparel operations running smoothly. This role owns the integrity of all product and production data across our PLM and ERP systems — ensuring information is accurate, timely, and actionable from design handoff through final shipment.

You’ll manage purchase orders, vendor data, and production tracking while collaborating closely with Design, Development, Production, and Logistics to maintain operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves process and precision, and brings strong apparel production knowledge with a data-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Systems

  • Maintain accurate style-level master data — including costing, pricing, BOMs, attributes, lifecycle status, vendor details, and assortment hierarchies — across PLM and ERP systems.
  • Audit and reconcile discrepancies between PLM, ERP, and vendor reports to ensure data consistency.
  • Support system upgrades and process improvements; test and validate workflows to align with business needs.

Purchase Orders & Vendor Management

  • Create, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in line with production calendars.
  • Monitor vendor acknowledgments, confirmations, and changes to keep production timelines on track.
  • Onboard new factories and vendors, ensuring compliance with testing, packaging, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain vendor master data and ensure up-to-date compliance records.

Production Tracking & Reporting

  • Manage and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) and production status reports, ensuring visibility for cross-functional teams.
  • Track ex-factory and shipment dates; flag risks, delays, and discrepancies proactively.
  • Review and approve shipment handover documents before release to logistics.
  • Partner with Logistics to ensure seamless handoff of finished goods to distribution centers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and Finance to align on calendar deadlines, costing accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Support Quality Assurance in meeting testing, labeling, and compliance standards.
  • Assist Finance with PO reconciliation and invoice matching.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support to the Operations and Production teams.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in production, data management, or operations within the apparel or footwear industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Apparel, Supply Chain, or Operations .
  • Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems (e.g., CIN7, NetSuite, Centric, BeProduct, WFX).
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and with external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with global apparel production calendars, testing, and compliance workflows is adventurous as is:
  • Experience in vendor onboarding and documentation management .
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and basic international trade and shipping processes.
