We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer with proficiency in automatic systems, Manual would be an asset.
• Transport freight would be generally refrigerated trailers.
• Follow designated routes while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Ensure the secure transport of goods by properly securing loads before departure.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving is essential.
• Familiarity with heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
• Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of logistics and delivery processes.
• Ability to handle different types of freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
