Trublue of Birmingham, a premier handyman company that specializes in small projects, is looking for a carpenter located in the Birmingham area with at least 15 years of experience to fit in with our team.

The ideal candidate:

• 15 years or more experience in carpentry (general and fine carpentry)
• can work on a 'pay per job' basis with potential bonus opportunities
• willing to work on small jobs (2-3 hrs) as well as larger jobs
• ability to estimate
• has other skills such as sheetrock, paint, general repairs and installations such as grab bars or widening doorways for seniors.
• is a good communicator and has a great attitude!!

Our process is to send the subcontractor or employee (yes, you can be either with us) to do an estimate for us. If we get the job, you get the job. If assistance is needed for the job we may provide another team member to help.

Trublue is a small company that positions itself as a premier handyman company rather than a regular contractor. While we specialize in small projects for homeowners and many of our jobs are repairs, that often leads to other jobs for the homeowner including many seniors who may need senior modifications done to their home.

We respect our professionals and their skills. We see it as a partnership where we get the opportunities and our professionals provide the labor. Pay may be an above average hourly pay for small jobs but many jobs are fixed pay per job and will pay more. Based on how well and how efficiently the job is done, there are also bonus opportunities.
