Core Responsibilities:
\n - Responsible for welding complex assemblies that meet station planning and customer specifications.
\n - Set up of weld fixtures and tooling fixtures to prepare to weld complex assemblies.
\n - Will use metal finishing tools, basic hand tools and precise measuring equipment to achieve station planning specifications and finish product, i.e. pneumatic angle grinders, calipers, pie tapes, micrometers etc.
\n - Responsible for printing of station planning, recording throughput, completing routers and manufacturing orders accurately and completely.
\n - Responsible for maintaining safety standards and daily/weekly 6S assignments.
\n - Keep area and surrounding area clean and safe to meet and pass safety regulations.
\n - General assist with others in department.
\n - Will help assembly area as needed.
\n - Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: \n - Minimum of 2 years of welding in the aerospace industry.
\n - TIG welding experience
\n - Must have welding certification or be working toward.
\n - Ability to understand and follow company and customer specifications.
\n - Ability to regulate controls associated with all equipment utilized.
\n - Ability to operate Pneumatic hand grinders, basic hand tools, overhead crane, welders, (GTAW), pedestal grinders, resistance welder, vise clamps and drills.
\n - Experience with welding all sorts of metal materials
\n - Have an in depth knowledge of GTAW and other welding practices and equipment.
\n - Ability to follow station planning and read blue prints.
\n - Knowledge of precision measuring equipment with ability to operate.
\n - Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels employees.
\n - Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.
\n - Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
\n - Strong organizational skills.
\n - Ability to plan and perform difficult work processes.

Shift: - 9/80 Schedule. Have every other Friday off! 2nd shift (3:30pm-1:00am); 12% shift differential
