Join a growing food manufacturing facility in Alexandria, VA as a Maintenance Technician, Welder . In this hands-on role, you’ll perform welding and fabrication tasks to maintain and repair production equipment—ensuring safety, compliance, and reliable operations.

About the Role

As a key part of the maintenance team, you’ll handle welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance on food production equipment. This role is ideal for an experienced welder who values precision, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding & fabrication on conveyors, stainless steel tanks, and production equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime
• Maintain documentation of maintenance, inspections, and repair work
• Follow safety protocols and food industry compliance standards
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Welding certification (AWS/ASME) preferred
• Proven welding experience in manufacturing or industrial settings ( food production a plus )
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards desirable
• Ability to operate and maintain welding tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Physical stamina for extended maintenance and welding tasks

Compensation & Schedule

• 💰 $55,000 – $65,000 annually
• 🕑 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM shift
• Full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, VA
