Responsibilities

  • Develop a high performing operations team; assessing, and then reconfiguring and redesigning (as required) to create a sustainable, lean, collaborative group. Ensure staff is positioned to meet current and future business needs. Improve training and development at all levels.
  • Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the financial performance of the business units operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize the allocation of resources to maximize profitability and return on investment.
  • Leverage reporting & dashboard capabilities which can accurately forecast future needs, and proactively communicate findings to Executive Management and create and present plans to act on trends.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
  • Implement talent development programs to build leadership capabilities within the organization.
  • Innovation and Technology:
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, products, and technologies.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate new technologies to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ten plus years progressive experience in manufacturing operations over multiple sites (at least five) with over five years of executive management experience.
  • Can provide multiple examples of successfully implementing performance improvement programs with measurable outcomes. With specific experience successfully implementing lean and/or six sigma techniques.
  • Brings a track record of driving operational excellence and success in implementing significant improvements in cost management, inventory management, supply chain management, quality, safety and delivery, which resulted in 5% cost reductions for four years or more.
  • At least four years’ experience managing operations of a business with significant complexity demonstrated by revenue size or total number of SKU’s.
  • Experience leading manufacturing operations internationally with firm grasp of compliance requirements.
  • Has successfully led the planning and execution of consolidating products, processes, and physical footprint of at least two businesses and/or divisions.
  • Has successfully led the vertical integration for at least one product line in a manufacturing facility/ organization.
  • Demonstrated success building processes that enabled a business to scale and support growth.
  • Can provide at least one strong example of completely transforming a large team (2,000+) into a best-in-class, high-performing organization.
  • Has successfully created a “team” environment, bringing together diverse backgrounds and skill sets to produce intended results.
  • Hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mindset, with the ability to be a driver and change agent in an organization.
  • Has worked for an organization during a time of growth or radical change, and can provide examples of successfully achieving business objectives while maintaining a collaborative culture in this environment.
  • A Bachelors degree is required with an advanced degree strongly preferred.

Position Requirements

- BA or BS Degree.

- At least ten years of demonstrated leadership capability.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.

- Solid analytical, organizational, and time management skills

- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, high-energy environment

 

Job Type : Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
