ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry are conducting a search on behalf of our client for the following:

Vice President – Property Operations

Experienced in managing operations of a portfolio of market rate and affordable housing properties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations by directing Regional Managers to achieve financial goals, adhere to compliance practices, conduct property visits, and support on-site teams.
• Hire, train, mentor and develop the team to maximize performance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with owners and management teams.
• Lead regional communications, ensuring teams are aware of updates.
• Regularly visit properties to ensure property standards meet company/ownership goals, ensuring issues are handled in a timely manner.
• Mentor and coach direct reports on budgeting, managing expenses, capital improvements, and maintenance expectations.
• Provide guidance on resolving outstanding escalated resident concerns.
• Ensure all property management staff are fully aware of corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly stakeholder meetings.
• Develop in-depth data analysis of property performance to create actionable insights for property operations.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years demonstrated success leading multifamily operations of market rate and affordable housing properties including several years as Vice President.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related major, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD and market rate properties.
• Management of company owned assets and third-party fee managed properties.
• Create and manage budgets; understand financial statements; skilled in Profit & Loss.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Persuasive leadership style and building successful teams.

Location: Dallas, TX

Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 commensurate with experience, plus Bonus & Benefits including Healthcare, 401k, PTO, and Holidays.
