Optum Care Delivery offers a wide range of services through our multi-specialty group, which includes over 300 providers, 21 medical health centers, and six urgent care clinics across southern Nevada, headquartered in the greater Las Vegas area.

As an Urgent Care RN, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the nursing process to assess and address patient needs. You will play a critical role in monitoring quality patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams, documenting responses and collaborating with providers.
• Anticipate and assist providers with patient examinations and treatments, including necessary setup for minor procedures.
• Administer drugs, treatments, IV therapy, and perform procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Coordinate follow-up care services, including lab tests, x-rays, and referrals.
• Support and guide co-workers in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and laboratory standards.
• Maintain licensure and certifications as required.
• Work varied shifts, including some weekends or holidays, and may be required to assist at other urgent care locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted NV RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• PALS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong IV skills and ability to interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans.
• Effective collaboration with medical providers and team members.
• Excellent multi-system assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Proactive problem-solving skills.

Your pay will reflect your experience and skill level, typically ranging from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour for full-time employment. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes incentive programs, equity stock options, and a 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements.
