\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be indicated on submission form)
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• No call requirements
\n• Patient ratio 1:6-7 (ratios not guaranteed)
\n• May float to other units based on staffing needs
\n• 1 year Med Surg experience required (inpatient only)
\n• Current RN license required (Missouri eligible or licensed)
\n• BLS from AHA required
\n• ACLS from AHA preferred
\n• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
\n• Black scrubs required (no leggings permitted)
\n• Work with equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, remote telemetry monitors
\n• Use EPIC EMR system
\n• Care for patients with GI, GU, wound care, acute withdrawal, altered mental status, dialysis/ESRD, and minor surgical conditions
\n• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Must be patient-focused and a team player

The facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center and features a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 1 STEMI Center, and holds the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification in Heart Failure. The 30-bed Med Surg unit provides all-private rooms and comprehensive medical and specialty care to patients from multiple counties across Missouri and Illinois.
