SOS Personnel is currently hiring on-call and long term substitute teachers for the following subject areas and grades:

• 5th grade
• 9th grade Algebra
• 3rd grade
• Elementary Art

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any field
• Current FBI clearance
• Current Pennsylvania criminal background check
• Current Child abuse clearance
• Act 126
• Act 71
• Act 168 Disclosure

Job Description:

In the absence of the full-time classroom teacher, the Substitute Teacher will provide instruction, encourage student progress, and manage the learning environment effectively. Some job responsibilities are listed below:

• Implement lesson plans the classroom teacher has left behind
• Motivate students to learn and participate.
• Be punctual to all assignments
• Utilize effective classroom management when commanding a classroom of children
