As the Senior Product Design Manager for Global Payroll, you’ll lead a team of designers working on one of Rippling’s most complex and widely adopted offerings. You’ll also be hands-on in shaping one of our newest Finance products, driving significant revenue growth in the years ahead. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a business-critical team, design innovative product experiences from the ground up, and reimagine key workflows for massive customer impact. What You Will Do Lead a business-critical team driving the expansion of Rippling’s Global Payroll offerings, fueling the company’s rapid growth and differentiation in the marketplace. Guide a team of designers shaping Rippling’s Payroll products, including payments, filings, remittances, tax calculations, variable compensation, and more. Design large-scale, complex experiences that are learnable, powerful, trustworthy, and efficient for users across the globe. Create a culture of craft, quality, and execution by inspiring, motivating, and leading product designers across experience levels to do the best work of their careers. Work closely with our Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and executive leadership to deliver best-in-class, innovative work that pushes the limits of possible. What You Will Need 8+ years of professional design experience, with 3+ years leading and managing design teams. Proven track record of delivering high-impact, customer-focused projects. Experience as a systems thinker, having designed an integrated product suite or feature ecosystem. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders. Collaborative approach to working with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to drive both product strategy and rigorous, operational execution. Experience leading, recruiting, and scaling design teams in both startups and established companies. Experience systematically growing product designers' skills to do the best work of their careers.
