SAMC-Ontario is a Level IV Trauma Center with 50 beds with 4 operating suites plus endoscopy, new laparoscopic equipment, advanced imaging capabilities and award-winning clinical services. With the increasing demand for sleep services, our program continues to develop a regional approach within the Saint Alphonsus Health System. The qualified Physician will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Sleep consultation; follow-through on physician's plan of care; order & interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs; prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education; aid in clinic phone triage and referral triage; assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic.

Interstate 84 and Oregon Highways 20/26, 30, and 201 all pass through Ontario. Ontario/Fruitland is one hour from Boise, Idaho. The Boise Airport (BOI) is the principal airport serving the region. It is a major commercial airport, where several major airlines provide daily flights to medium and large cities in all directions.
