Job description: Senior Business Analyst (QA skills needed)

Business Analyst

• Works with business partner to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.
• Clearly articulates and documents business requirements.
• Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
• Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
• Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software.
• Helps to manage ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT.
• Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies.
• Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
• Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues.
• Able to deal with Enterprise wide projects
• Negotiates contracts, manages relationships, and monitors vendor performance against SLAs.
• Acts as a mentor to other business analysts.
• Reviews and suggests ways to improve the overall business processes.
• Creates and executes test scripts

• Manages projects

Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas:

Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Maintenance and Support. Defines, develops and implements Quality Assurance (QA) practices and procedures, end user test plans and other QA assessments.

• Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance offering recommendations for updates or changes. Ensures continuing operational quality by documenting bug fixes, enhancements and updates. Assigns tasks to development, testing & training staff as required.
• Exceptional documentation skills including ability to document use cases and process flows
• Experience working with excel reports and budgets
• Experience building power point slides for executive presentations.
• Able to work effectively on cross functional teams
