Job Description: We are looking for a results-oriented Roofing Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage prospective customers. This role involves sourcing and nurturing your own customer base, performing roof inspections, and providing accurate quotes for roof repairs and replacements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for building relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and generate leads through door-to-door canvassing and other self-initiated methods.
  • Perform thorough roof inspections to assess damage, wear, or replacement needs.
  • Prepare and present accurate, competitive quotes for roof repairs and replacements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust and repeat business.
  • Follow up on limited company-provided leads to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, roofing materials, and best practices to provide expert recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in roofing sales or related field preferred; construction or home improvement sales experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads and close sales through proactive outreach (e.g., door knocking).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with homeowners and businesses.
  • Ability to perform roof inspections and understand roofing systems (training provided if needed).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for managing quotes, customer data, and sales tracking.
