McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated commercial sheet metal company with locations in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Nashville. McCorvey Sheet Metal Works, L.P. is a detailer, fabricator, and installer of HVAC sheet metal ducts. McCorvey works primarily on larger projects such as healthcare facilities, research labs, sports stadiums, hospitality, government, education, and many other vertical markets. McCorvey is seeking a Recruiter to join our team! If you are a team player and think outside the box for recruiting needs, we want to speak with you!

Responsibilities:

• Screen resumes, cold calls, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
• Fulfill the manpower needs of our field operations team
• Build a pipeline of new applicants
• Research new methods to find applicants
• Establish relationship with Trade Schools, High Schools, Colleges and Universities
• Communicate with applicants to verify they arrive on job site.
• Communicate with superintendents on new employee performance
• Distribute any Test(s) that are necessary for field employees
• Outreach Events – Job Fairs, High Schools, Colleges, Universities

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the Construction industry
• Experience using any ATS system (Avionte, Paycom)
• 2 + yrs. recruiting for fast-paced positions
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

1. Typing – 65+ WPM
