Full-time Pulmonary Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Opening – Norwalk, CT  

 

Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full time Pulmonary Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Norwalk, CT. The position Provides medical care for Respiratory/Pulmonary patients under the supervision of a physician and includes seeing patients in the outpatient office, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility.  

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Respiratory/Pulmonary medicine, however new grads are welcome to apply. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.  

Job Requirements: 
  • Experience working with Internal Medicine or Respiratory/Pulmonary & Sleep medicine is preferred but not required. 

  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). 

  • Connecticut Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. 

  • Federal DEA. 

  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
