WQAD News 8 in Moline, IL is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage the newscast directors and all production spaces within the WQAD studio facility. Effective interaction and communication with the News and Engineering departments, along with other departments, is critical to success. Strong leadership, organizational skills and creativity are a must. The successful candidate will possess strong skills in set design/construction and the ability to modify such that for special events. The Production Supervisor will also identify, modify and maintain other areas in the station as alternative production/shooting areas. The Production Supervisor will serve as the first contact for all News, Marketing, and Sales productions. The Production Supervisor will also interact with the TEGNA Design Tank. While reporting to the Head of Technology, a strong dotted line to the News Director will be in place.

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
