Members tutor elementary students during afterschool and summer programs using a structured curriculum focused on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Each student receives two 45-minute sessions weekly. Members help struggling readers gain confidence and catch up to grade level. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here . Member Duties : - Provide twice-weekly, 45-minute one-on-one tutoring to two students using the Reading Partners curriculum - Track student progress and complete required data - Participate in member training, reflection, and cohort activities - Build relationships with students, families, and partner staff - Attend regular check-ins with supervisors and program staff Program Benefits : Living Allowance , Training , Education award upon successful completion of service .
