Here, you will prepare and prosecute patent applications and have responsibilities pertaining to a range of other patent protection issues as the needs arise (e.g., patentability and infringement opinions, patent portfolio strategic counseling, due diligence relating to acquisitions, licensing, etc.) while working closely with clients, inventors, and other firm attorneys. Requirements: A PhD in organic chemistry, biochemistry, or biology. At least 1 year of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience. Attorneys must have a CA state bar.
