ProLift Garage Doors seeks experienced
Operations/Office Assistant to perform coordination duties and assign the activities of multiple technicians in the performance of garage door service operations to include service repairs, inspections, inventory management and schedule management. This is a working management assistant position with the ratio of production to supervision activities based on business growth and operational tempo. If you have prior experience working in an operations assistant with a residential focused garage door company and seek a part-time/full-time position, please apply. If you lack experience in garage door company, you will get training. This position will transition into the
Operations Manager role.
Responsibilities - Assistance Role will support or take on some of the responsibilities below - Help with oversight over all field technicians and company-owned assets
- Communicate and report daily with management.
- Lead/manage team, inventory, and jobs.
Skills Required - Can COMMUNICATE! Talk to the techs, Talk to customers, Talk to our vendor partners.
- Ability to learn and teach new processes
- Ability to plan, implement and direct field activities
- Strong computer and software skills including scheduling and dispatch management systems
- Ability to train and motivate field technicians
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public
- Customer service-oriented outlook on business
- Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools.
- Basic business math and legible handwriting
- Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2-4 years of experience that would provide the skills and abilities necessary to complete the job.
Experience - 2-4 years experience in the garage door industry - ideal, but not necessary
- One-year office management experience preferred.
