Job Description

The Security Officer role will be monitoring the truck arrivals at our St. Paul campus. Ensure safety and maintain order in the truck lot. Limit cars and trucks into the lot. Communicate with receiving and shipping personnel by radio. Keep unauthorized people out of the lot. Stage trucks delivering to JBLC and cars (will call orders) on the street and in the lot until space is available at a dock for them. Report all suspicious activity to the Security Sergeant or the Security Lead. Reports to the Security Sergeant. Must be able to pass an FBI Background check and drug test. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in law enforcement. Have experience in the Security or Law Enforcement field instead of a degree. Security or Law Enforcement experience, experience working at a gate position and working with Truck drivers (Preferred). Computer and Application Skills: MS Office Suite.
