Job Description

NetSuite CPQ Specialist | Milford, CT $85,000 (DOE) Job Overview:

The NetSuite CPQ Specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our NetSuite CPQ platform to ensure seamless processes and accurate build and pricing configurations. This role involves working closely with the product development, marketing, sales and manufacturing teams to enhance our quote-to-cash cycle, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth through effective use of the CPQ system.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Configure, manage, and maintain the NetSuite CPQ system, including product catalog updates, pricing rules, discounting structures.
  • Continuously assess the CPQ system's performance and make adjustments to workflows, rules, and configurations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring they are proficient in using the CPQ system and are utilizing it to its full potential.
  • Work closely with the product development, marketing, sales and manufacturing departments to gather design requirements, design integration architecture, implement changes, and ensure the CPQ system aligns with business goals.
  • Assist in the integration of the CPQ system with other NetSuite modules and third-party applications (RF-Smart, PaceJet) to ensure a seamless flow of information across systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any CPQ-related issues, troubleshooting problems, debugging of integration issues, and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for CPQ configurations, processes, and user guides.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and configuring NetSuite CPQ or similar CPQ solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and quote-to-cash cycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Must have experience with SuiteScript and JavaScript.
  • NetSuite certifications, especially related to CPQ.
