Meetings and Events Director to $175K - Elite Event Management Role!

Our client, a leading private investment firm, is seeking a Meetings and Events Director to manage high-profile events for C-suite executives and investors. This role requires an experienced professional who can deliver flawless execution for events ranging from intimate partner retreats to large-scale investor conferences of 450+ attendees. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of corporate or VIP event planning experience with exceptional discretion and attention to detail.

Position Details:

• Location: Boston, MA
• Work Model: Hybrid

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Global Events Director to strategically plan and execute diverse events including partner retreats, investor conferences, CEO summits, and employee celebrations.
• Developing creative concepts and managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Negotiating with premium vendors, hotels, and venues while maintaining budget parameters.
• Coordinating all logistics from audio/visual needs to ground transportation and gift selection.
• Creating branded event materials and personally overseeing events to ensure client satisfaction.
• Managing invoice reconciliation and processing.

Ideal candidate attributes:

• Extensive experience managing events for high-profile individuals with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and composure under pressure.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Planning or Marketing is preferred.
