Overview Medical Scribe/ Clinical Scribe/ Medical Documentation Specialist job at Tap Growth ai. Los Angeles, CA. We're Hiring: Medical Scribe! We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to support healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time. The ideal candidate will have strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Location: Los Angeles, CA Position: Medical Scribe Pay Rate: $24.57/hr Duration: 13 weeks Expected Shift: Day 5x8-Hour 08:00AM - 5:00PM Responsibilities Accompany physician during patient encounter Transcribe the physician dictated patient history Transcribe the physical examination findings and procedures performed by the physician Transcribe the results on laboratory and radiographic studies Transcribe patient education and explanation of risk and benefits for procedures performed by the physician Transcribe pending orders for referrals, tests, medications, and procedures as dictated by physician Transcribe all proper diagnosis and symptoms, follow up instructions, and prescription information as directed Prepare and edit scribed document for physician review and signature Required Qualifications 6+ months of experience as a Medical Scribe Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly Proficiency in written communication including spelling, punctuation, and grammar Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessment to the extent required to accurately transcribe physician encounters Preferred Qualifications College education in a related area of study Experience with CS Link/Epic NOTE: These statements describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks.
