Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Scribe program. Licensure: Active and certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) and/or Medical Scribe certification required. Current CPR certification is mandatory. Experience: Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant and/or Scribe in a clinical setting. Technical Skills: Must be familiar with Crash Cart procedures and maintenance. Strong knowledge of medical formulae and medications is essential. Knowledge of EMR systems. Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Language: Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Accurately transcribe patient encounters in real-time into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) as a Medical Scribe. Perform clinical Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the Crash Cart to ensure readiness. Utilize knowledge of medications and medical formulae to support patient care and documentation. Perform CPR as a certified responder when necessary. Assist healthcare providers with various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient flow.
