Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including security, surveillance, and telecommunications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties

• Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems such as CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and repair existing installations.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored security solutions based on their specific needs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of cabling and equipment.
• Provide technical support for remote access software and other system functionalities.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the field of security systems or telecommunications.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles and computer hardware components.
• Experience with system design for security applications including sensors, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Knowledge of locksmithing techniques is beneficial.
