Licensed Private Investigator - Surveillance Vandergrutz Investigations is a private investigation agency specializing in Workers' Compensation and Insurance Fraud/Insurance Defense Investigations. We also conduct alive and well checks, process service, document and evidence retrieval, and other investigations, providing accurate and reliable investigative services. Role Description This role starts as a Part‑Time position and may develop into Full‑Time depending on quality and availability of work. It requires a Licensed Private Investigator in Virginia. Responsibilities include conducting surveillance, investigative reporting, claim investigations, fraud investigations, and detailed documentation of findings. Applicant must have an active Private Investigator License in Virginia. Qualifications Experience in surveillance and investigation. Skills in investigative reporting and claim investigation. Proficiency in fraud investigations. Excellent observational and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field is a plus.
