NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Junior AWS Cloud Engineer based in our Concord, North Carolina office. This person is responsible for playing a key role in the administration and implementation of next generation, media, and data systems. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in deploying and managing cloud applications usingAWS services(EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.). Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure availability and performance. Support the automation of deployments usingtools like Bamboo, CloudFormation or Terraform. Help troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud-related issues. Work with security teams to implement cloud security best practices. Collaborate with developers and IT teams to optimize cloud resources. Document cloud configurations and standard operating procedures. Travel: Up to 10% , there will be weekend support, at least twice a month. Required skills / experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of five (5) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding ofAWS cloud servicesand cloud computing concepts. Familiarity withLinux and Windows server environments. Exposure to scripting languages likePython, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, firewalls). Ability to work in a collaborative environment and troubleshoot basic cloud issues. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other entry-level AWS certification. Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or CloudWatch.
