Job Title: Industrial Engineer Pay Rate: $50.00-60.00/ per hour Location: St Louis, MO 63134 Area Code: 314 Shifts: 1st Employment Type: Direct, Full Benefits #AerospaceEngineering #IndustrialEngineering #LeanManufacturing About the Role: We"re seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with aerospace manufacturing experience to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and expertise in developing production systems and driving improvement initiatives. You"ll partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver measurable improvements in delivery, schedule, and cost across complex aerospace programs. What You"ll Do:

• Evaluate current aerospace production systems and workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to increase productivity, reduce cost, and optimize resource utilization using Lean principles.
• Partner with program and project managers to integrate continuous improvement into program execution.
• Support operations and shop floor teams with layout design, rate readiness, and production optimization.
• Enhance standard work documentation, dashboards, and performance tools for improved visibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic planning, problem-solving, and action plans.
• Mentor engineers in industrial engineering methodologies and best practices.

What We"re Looking For:

• Bachelor"s degree (or higher) in Industrial, Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience required.
• Proven expertise applying Lean principles; Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification preferred.
• Strong background in process improvement, productivity analysis, and cost reduction.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to influence teams and drive change.
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required
