Job Description

Job Purpose The Human Resources Intern will perform a variety of services as outlined herein and back-up for other areas outlined herein, as well as, policy/procedure interpretation and administration, employee relations, counseling, investigations, FMLA and ADA compliance and record keeping. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet employees, answer employee inquiries and / or refer them to the appropriate person.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation and on-boarding
  • Make employee badges
  • I-9 entry and compliance
  • Enter and modify employees in various HR systems
  • Create and maintain personnel folders
  • Assist with attendance policy
  • Conduct interviews for various positions
  • Assist HR department with data entry and collection
  • Maintain manpower reports
  • Maintain emergency contact list
  • Provide back-up within the department and perform other duties as assigned
Education: Currently pursuing a (or recent graduate) Bachelor's Degree with focus in HR or Employee Relations.
