**Job Title: Hair Stylist**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist with strong sales skills to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling, a keen eye for aesthetics, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to drive sales. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services to clients, including haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments. In addition to your hairstyling expertise, your ability to effectively communicate with clients, recommend hair care products, and upsell salon services will be essential to your success in this role. **Responsibilities:**
- Provide a variety of hair services, including haircuts, blowouts, coloring, highlights, and hair treatments.
- Listen to clients' hair goals and preferences, and offer professional advice and recommendations based on their hair type, face shape, and lifestyle.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the latest styles and treatments.
- Create and maintain client records, including detailed notes on the services provided and products used.
- Perform hair and scalp analysis to identify and address any specific hair or scalp concerns.
- Execute haircuts, coloring, and styling techniques with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with clients, building rapport, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their salon experience.
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques, products, and maintenance between salon visits.
- Recommend and sell hair care products, styling tools, and salon services to clients, effectively utilizing strong sales skills.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by upselling salon services and retail products.
- Keep the salon workstations and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Assist with salon inventory management, including monitoring product levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with other salon team members to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, attend hair shows, workshops, and training sessions to further enhance your skills and knowledge.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- In-depth knowledge of various hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Proficiency in using hair care products, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to clients' needs and provide professional recommendations.
- Strong sales skills and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Creative flair and a passion for staying updated on the latest hair trends.
- Valid cosmetology license or certification.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for hair salons.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
