What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct audits and risk assessments, communicating findings and recommendations for improvement through detailed reports
- Ensure management is informed about the risks associated with noncompliance to information security standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and revise policies, standards, and procedures based on organizational needs
- Collaborate with various teams to implement process improvements and respond to security inquiries
- Monitor risks and propose preventive measures to mitigate future risks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in information technology/information security auditing, preferably in a software engineering environment
- Technical knowledge of audit and risk concepts within information technology and security contexts
- Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CMMC, ISO 27001:2013, SOC2, and NIST Cyber Security Framework
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience writing audit findings, reports, policies, and procedures
- Working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and improvement programs like Total Quality Management, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma
- Experience managing projects and tracking implementation progress
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in risk management software
