Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, talented, and creative Graphic Artist/Illustrator to join our team. As the Graphic Artist/Illustrator of our company, you will play a vital role in visually shaping illustrations that effectively communicate ideas, concepts, messaging of Studio TK's brand. This position offers the possibility of working remotely but the right candidate must have the flexibility to travel to our corporate headquarters and other locations as needed.
Primary responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of Studio TK's Graphic Artist/Illustrator include researching topics related to Studio TK's brand and product offering to develop original, attention-grabbing illustrations. Creativity comes in many forms; they can utilize graphic design software and traditional artistic techniques to create visually appealing and engaging illustrations.
Additionally, the Graphic Artist/Illustrator may collaborate with the marketing team, other designers, art directors, and copywriters to create cohesive and visually compelling visual assets for marketing campaigns, websites, publications, social media, and other promotional materials.
The Graphic Artist/Illustrator will also manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from the marketing team and other employees of Studio TK. Attention to detail and effective communication are crucial as they ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of work. They must be able to present their ideas
to other team members, incorporate the provided feedback, and adjust as necessary. Overall, the responsibilities revolve around using their artistic and technical skills to create visual content that effectively communicates messages, engages audiences, and enhances brand identity.
- Develop, create, and update marketing & promotional materials that can be used both digitally and in print formats.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create captivating social media collateral.
- Generate original and innovative ideas for visual concepts and designs.
- Create captivating illustrations and graphics that align with our brand identity and target audience.
- Maintain and update existing print and digital marketing material to reflect changes in brand, product, information, and pricing.
- Develop storyboards, sketches, and mock-ups to present design ideas.
- Use various design software and tools to bring illustrations to life.
- Ensure all graphics are visually appealing, consistent, and on-brand.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to constantly improve skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of graphics across various platforms and mediums.
- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- This could be a hybrid/remote position for the right candidate. There will be travel to our corporate headquarters and other locations as required for team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project collaboration
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Illustration, or a related field.
- Proven multi-year experience as a Graphic Artist, Illustrator or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of illustration styles and techniques.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for creativity and continuous learning.
- Willingness to travel to corporate headquarters and other locations as required.
