About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Supplier Diversity Office. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced, and diversity-focused executive with a high level of professionalism and integrity. This role is pivotal in leading government-wide efforts to expand opportunities for diverse and small businesses within state and local government entities. The Executive Director will be responsible for enforcing supplier diversity statutes, Executive Orders, and regulations, as well as establishing and achieving strategic goals that align with the administration's priorities. Key responsibilities include overseeing diverse and small business certification, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and driving a more inclusive and equitable procurement process. The ideal candidate will have a significant professional background in public or business administration, a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to lead a multi-faceted team. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Supplier Diversity Office must have a minimum of 7 years' experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity. The ideal candidate will have a background in supplier diversity, public procurement, or related fields, and a proven track record of leadership in driving positive outcomes. Strong communication, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple complex tasks and make sound, independent decisions.
