Event and Fundraising Manager - Corporate Headquarters
Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Communications and Development Officer, this position will primarily work to develop, implement, and execute development and fundraising strategies for Hope. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in current development and fundraising trends and possess strong communication and writing skills. We are looking for a team member who is motivated, a self-starter, forward thinking, and organized to work in this fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and implement a donor management strategy that is in line with Hope's overall development and fundraising strategy.
Manage donor database and stewardship efforts. Maintains high quality stewardship process for active corporate, foundation and private prospects and donors. Ensures that stewardship and reporting requirements are met to sustain successful partnerships by overseeing a rigorous schedule of contacts with corporate, civic and foundation representatives.
Communicate regularly with donor base and build relationships.
Plan, organize and execute all aspects of Hope's special events.
Manage committees for special events.
Maintain sponsorship database, including seeking out and identifying new sponsors.
Track incoming donations. Utilize analytical tools to grow donor database.
Foster and seek out relationships in the communities of Hope.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING 5-10 years' experience in Development, Fundraising, or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in an indoor office or classroom environment, free from extreme weather conditions. Work may include a moderate amount of noise (business office with computers, phone and printers). Work may require working flexible hours outside of normal business hours.
