What You'll Do

As a Construction Materials Field Technician, your exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Routine quality control test procedures including concrete and nuclear moisture / density testing
• Becoming familiar with reading and understanding applicable construction plans and specifications
• Preparation and submission of daily reports
• Interact with clients, contractors, and other design professionals
• Attendance at job site related meetings
• Performance of testing in our soils and construction materials testing laboratories
• Opportunity for continuing education and role-specific certification 

 

Desired Qualifications

 

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member, maintain composure, and work effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to use a company provided laptop or iPad and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Construction-related training or technical training desirable
• Certifications in Concrete and Soil desirable

Benefits:  Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $14-$24
