Role SummaryAs the Digital Director, you will lead external campaigns and paid media to help build Danaher brand awareness and the company’s reputation worldwide. This exciting new role will lead brand campaigns to position Danaher as a science and technology leader and communicate our commitment to accelerate science and technology to improve human health. You also will support the development of Danaher’s employment brand campaigns to ensure they reflect Danaher’s brand and its associate value proposition, and you will direct all paid media for Danaher Corporate. You will think strategically in the digital world, oversee execution and understand how to maximize messaging and creative for impactful campaigns. You will leverage data to measure performance results across a variety of different platforms and channels, including paid/display, social media, SEO, programmatic ads and web.Essential ResponsibilitiesThis role requires strong partnerships and collaboration across our functions—including communications, science and technology, human resources—and our external agency partners. You will identify and implement effective programs that support Danaher’s brand awareness goals and will have a strong record in developing compelling and creative content and running paid media, as well as passion for performance metrics and data analytics.Operate as digital thought leader, staying current with emerging technologies, trends and product developments.Plan and implement Danaher brand campaigns end-to-end, from planning to content creation, activation, tracking/optimizing and reporting.Bring the brand to life through engaging brand and employment brand content to fuel Danaher’s digital channels, including website and blog features, articles, and videos.Lead media buying/paid media efforts across all channels (e.g., print, digital, programmatic, etc.); track and report performance metrics; monitor ad fraud across ad channels.Collaborate with Danaher’s Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition teams to identify opportunities; directs paid advertising and campaign budgets.Evaluate metrics and report across channels, campaign initiatives and programs – including recruiting paid media analytics – ensuring ROI.Drive SEO for Danaher and supervise and lead website user experience across the Danaher Careers site - oversees Careers site strategy, content, performance and operations.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree in marketing/digital marketing, web development, journalism, business or communications.10 years of digital marketing experience, including experience executing brand or digital marketing campaigns, paid media and data analytics.Experience in healthcare, science and technology, pharmaceutical/biopharma or medical device industries.Significant campaign expertise – including copywriting and working within brand standards / guidelines.Ability to integrate business needs into creative campaigns; experience developing marketing strategies for an employment brand.Digital/paid media and SEO expertise; familiarity with social and mobile practices.Strong analytical skills, with ability to compile and interpret data into meaningful insights and KPIs.Project or program management experience; including agency management and team leadership.The salary range for this role is $165,000 to 185,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home.
