About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team. The CFO will be a key figure in the organization's financial management, with a focus on income and expense tracking, cash flow, budget, and forecasting management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization, particularly in the context of its mission to empower and equip families for economic revitalization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial oversight, including providing financial guidance and statements to the Board of Directors, and will play a significant role in the monitoring and tracking of capital and construction campaigns.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background that includes 5-10 years' of nonprofit financial management experience, with a strong preference for those who have 3-5 years' of managing audit compliance. The role requires the ability to provide data and financial analyses, as well as prior supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial management is essential, with a Master's degree being preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a CPA certification and be proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, and Word. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other members of the leadership team, and must be adept at building and maintaining relationships, both within the organization and with external partners.
