Impex Auto Sales, the largest independent pre-owned car dealer in central North Carolina, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive BDC Agent/Internet Sales Consultant to join our team in Greensboro, NC. Since 2005, we've grown from a single car to a leading name in the industry, offering a diverse inventory of reliable and unique vehicles to customers locally and nationwide

As a Business Development Center Representative (BDCR) , you'll be crucial in generating new sales opportunities for Impex of Greensboro. You'll be the initial point of contact for many potential customers, effectively communicating our value proposition and guiding them through their car-buying journey. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of automotive sales and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Answer customer calls and schedule sales appointments.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries.
  • Consistently achieve reasonable sales goals.
  • Build rapport and develop strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Clearly present Impex Auto Sales' value proposition and answer customer questions about our vehicles and services.
  • Provide initial product information to customers.
  • Follow up diligently with leads who aren't ready to make an appointment or don't show up for scheduled meetings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in BDC and Dealership settings is required.
  • 1+ year of internet sales experience.
  • Automotive Knowledge: A baseline understanding of the automotive industry and sales processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Location: Ability to commute to and, if necessary, relocate to Greensboro, NC 27407 before starting work (required).
