Associate Attorney job at Gpac Shreveport, LA, US

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in personal injury, workers' compensation, social security disability, med mal and/or criminal law.

Responsibilities:

* Handle cases from intake to resolution
* Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
* Prepare and file legal documents
* Represent clients in court and mediation
* Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress
* Develop case strategies and conduct legal research

Qualifications:

* JD from an accredited law school
* 2+ years experience in any or all of the above practice areas
* Active state bar membership in Louisiana
* Strong litigation or pre-suit and negotiation skills
* Proven track record of successful case management and litigation
* Excellent communication and client management abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
