Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary The Additive Manufacturing Department is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented team member to support daily operations. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge 3D printing technologies and support production workflows in a collaborative environment. This position is scheduled for 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Setup, load programs, review/edit build files and operate additive manufacturing machines. Operate supporting equipment and hardware in the additive manufacturing process to meet desired specifications and finish. Maintain additive manufacturing equipment and supporting equipment (including powders, hand tooling, build plates, filters, etc) to meet quality and safety standards. Meet production standards and quality expectations. Perform machine cleaning and other housekeeping practices to maintain a safe work environment. Document results and traceability information accurately. Minimum Experience/Training/Education High School diploma Interest or experience in manufacturing or 3D printing Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions Work Environment: Employee works in an air-conditioned Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels from the air and electrically-operated machinery and equipment, and some variation in temperature due to external weather conditions. Special Requirements May be required to work weekends as business necessitates; schedules will be determined by the department supervisor/management with at least 48 hours in advance notice.
