What You’ll Do as an Accounts Payable Specialist:As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll contribute to the company’s operational excellence by managing essential accounting functions and supporting internal and external stakeholders. In this role, the Accounts Payable Specialist will:
Perform detailed reviews of vendor billing and expense reports (including utilities) and reconcile general ledger accounts to support accurate period-end close.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, prepare and post journal entries that comply with GAAP standards, maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with on-site processors and provide guidance, issue resolution, and policy compliance in your Accounts Payable Specialist capacity.
Partner with teams such as Corporate Reporting, Treasury, and Finance to streamline transaction processing and resolve cross-functional issues.
Monitor vendor invoice submissions, maintain communication, and build strong vendor relationships—all key duties of an Accounts Payable Specialist.
At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant work experience.
Familiarity with Oracle or large ERP systems is a plus.
Strong knowledge of AP processes and foundational accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and Microsoft Office tools.
